Best Time to Visit Har Ki Dun Trek

The best time for visiting Har Ki Dun is from April to June & September to December. This is because each season has its charm & experience:

  • April to June: It is during this time that the valley comes alive with flowers of rhododendrons, clear blue skies & moderate weather. It’s best for trekkers who love colourful landscapes & dry footpaths.
  • Early Autumn to Early Winter (September to December): Experience golden forest trails, the lush greenery of post-monsoon season & even early snowfalls in late November. The visual of snow-clad peaks such as Swargarohini looks extremely beautiful these days.
  • Don’t trek during monsoon (July-Aug): The trail gets slippery & prone to landslides due to continuous rains.

So whether you are a snow lover or a flower lover, every season has a different feel. Our HarkiDun Trek package from Dehradun is planned for these best months so you can enjoy a scenic & safe experience.

Har ki Dun Trek
