The Most Beautifully Landscaped Meadow of our Country

himalaya tribe

Experienced hikers on Indiahikes adore the Dayara Bugyal trip. Lush woodlands in the spring, vivid green meadows in the summer, orange tones in the fall, and a tranquil snowscape in the winter—it provides breathtaking beauty all year long. Even novices love this journey because of the beautifully manicured meadows and the magnificent Gangotri mountain range in the background.

At an elevation of more than 10,000 feet, Dayara Bugyal offers stunning vistas of the Greater Himalayas, including the seemingly accessible peaks of Bandarpunch, Kala Nag, Srikanth, Jaonli, and Draupadi Ka Danda. Trekkers frequently gaze at the sunset over these mountains for hours on end.

Himalayan blue poppies, daisies, and primroses are among the vibrant alpine flowers that bloom in the meadow during the summer. In contrast to the snow-covered peaks, the meadow is surrounded by charming oak and rhododendron forests. Numerous bird species, including the Himalayan monal, the state bird of Uttarakhand, can be found throughout the walk.
